Upon retirement, Mr. Agustine San Andres, a seafarer and wife, Emilia. Decided to put up a meat processing business with the full support of their children. The couple attended an in-house training. Or a short course on meat processing production at Ultima Enterpinoy Livelihood Training Center in Metro Manila to obtain skills.
In 2014, they were able to start the production with the help of two workers from Sorsogon city. Who eventually left them to work abroad after a year. As of now, the firm also has three workers and one bookkeeper. Aside from that, they also seek help on-call worker.
The business is legally registered with concerned government agencies. Like LGU Capalonga, DTI Camarines Norte, Bureau of Fire (FBP), and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
AJEFCA, the business name, is a combination of the family members name : Agustin Jr head of the family, Jessie Eldest Son, Emilia Mother, Florabel second born child, Charmi third born child, Agustin III Youngest child.
